To celebrate “Hispanic Heritage Month,” the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) in collaboration with the Hispanic Museum of Nevada will host a photo/art exhibit and auction on Friday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m.
The auction will feature photographs by Antonio Gomez as well as fine art from the Hispanic Museum. The hand-selected works on display promote the rich diversity within the Hispanic culture and capture the time-honored traditions of its community members.
The event is being sponsored by EMBARQ, CSN, Latin Chamber, the Office of Minority Affairs for the State of Nevada and the Hispanic Museum with the proceeds from the exhibit and auction going to support student scholarships at CSN. Admission to the exhibit is $20 and includes wine, hors d’oeuvres and an auction of works donated by Mr. Gomez.
To attend the exhibit event please RSVP by Wednesday, October 22 to 651-4051. The exhibit will be held at EMBARQ located at 330 S. Valley View Blvd.
