Poppy Den Asian Bistro by Chef Angelo Sosa will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special ‘Addicted to Love’ prix fixe menu available exclusively on Friday, Feb. 14 (Pictured: Poppy Den Braised Pork Belly – Photo credit: Omar Gomez).
Priced at $39 per person, Chef Sosa’s enchanting menu will include a glass of sparkling rosé and three courses. To start the meal, lovers will choose from: sashimi tuna spring rolls enriched with a sweet Korean chili sauce accompanied by kimchi and scallions; braised pork belly infused with soy and hoisin wrapped in an Asian Bao bun; peppered glazed chicken wings; chili crab toast; pot-stickers; or a watermelon goat cheese salad, made with candied wasabi, sesame seeds and topped with yuzu dressing.

The entrée selections will allow diners to choose between: tofu curry made with mint and turmeric and served with steamed rice; fish caca la vong made with ginger, onion jam and dill; coconut glazed salmon; Peking duck served with scallion pancakes, pickles and hoisin; pepper steak; chicken and broccoli; or a vegetable stir fry dish. The meal will end on a sweet note with a choice between miso coconut tiramisu, strawberry sorbet with white chocolate caviar or Poppy Den’s giant fortune cookie dessert.

Poppy Den is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a happy hour available daily from 4 to 7 p.m. The Den, Poppy Den’s hip second-story ultra-lounge, is open from 7 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
