Comedians Rich Hall and Jeff Altman will be performing at the Laugh Factory in Tropicana Las Vegas on January 20-26 (Pictured: Rich Hall).
Rich Hall created “Sniglets” and was an Saturday Night Live cast member and a writer on The Late Show with David Letterman. Hall co-wrote and starred in the satirical comedy series Not Necessarily the News from 1983 until 1990 where he coined the term “sniglet” (“any word that doesn’t appear in the dictionary but should”) and collected and published several volumes of books of them.
Hall shot to prominence as a cast member of Saturday Night Live and gained fame with numerous appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Fridays, Sniglets and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Hall’s brand of humor spread across the pond making him a top selling and in demand comedian in England, regularly performing to sold out crowds. Critics have hailed Hall as one of the best acts in comedy and David Letterman says, “Rich Hall is the real thing.” No target is safe, from religion to politics to Tom Cruise.
Jeff Altman appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman this past Friday, January 1, 2014 to plug his appearance at the Laugh Factory in The Tropicana. This was Jeff’s 3rd time plugging The Tropicana on David Letterman and he is one of Dave’s best and oldest friends – Altman has appeared on Letterman’s show 40 times!
To witness a performance by Jeff Altman is to realize that there are still a few people in show business who desperately need medication. The “slightly unhinged” Jeff Altman combines physical comedy with keen, honest observations about everyday life.
Jeff has guest-starred in dozens of network prime-time shows, ranging from such pop culture classics as Baywatch and Dukes of Hazzard to his own critically-acclaimed Showtime specials, Jeff Altman‘s Scrapbook and Sweet & Meaty. His numerous film credits include Highlander II, American Hot Wax, Soul Man and Easy Money.
