“Giants,” their first single off Distraction, is climbing the Alternative radio charts, and they just released the new video for it:
Bear Hands’ sophomore album Distraction finds the band stretching out from their charmingly scrappy indie-rock beginnings of their debut into full-blown technicolor, following three years of work on the record coupled with heavy touring with the likes of Passion Pit, MGMT, GZA and more. The hard work resulted in a self-assuredness immediately evident on the simultaneously whiplash-inducing and silkily-grooving lead single “Giants.” Hook-filled from top to bottom, but dynamic and filled with curveballs, Distraction is an invitingly idiosyncratic gem.
Bear Hands are a post-punk and indie rock band consisting of Dylan Rau, Val Loper, Ted Feldman and TJ Orscher. Visit their official web site: BearHandsBand.com
