Street artist Kelsey Montague is going to paint two large, angel wing murals for The Howard Hughes Corporation in Downtown Summerlin October 7-9th, 2014. Her work, a massive pair of wings entitled What Lifts You?, will be both interactive and socially engaging (Pictured: Taylor Swift poses with a pair of wings entitled What Lifts You?).
The public will be invited to pose with one of the pairs of wings and post photos of themselves “wearing” the wings to Facebook and Instagram. Viewers can engage with the piece via social media, sharing their answers to the question #whatliftsyou.
Kelsey’s goal is ultimately to provide opportunities for people to become ‘living works of art.’ Kelsey recently completed her first set of wings in the popular neighborhood Nolita in New York City. This piece has been featured on the Instagrams of Taylor Swift, Vanessa Hudgens and Refinery 29.
