Lucky Foo’s Restaurant & Bar, located at 8955 S. Eastern Ave., introduced the Green Valley area to “American Izakaya,” a dynamic dining experience where family and friends can get together for food, cocktails and socializing, by celebrating its grand opening last night with a surprise appearance from reality TV star and disc jockey, DJ Pauly D (Photo credit: Shane O’Neal).
To kick off the night, Lucky Foo’s owner and managing partner Michael Fuller, toasted to the opening of the new restaurant and bar. Hundreds of guests attended the lavish VIP party and sipped on signature cocktails, including the Water Dragon, Resting Panda and Crouching Tiger.
Servers passed a variety of signature Lucky Foo’s dishes prepared by Executive Chef Shawn Giordano, including selections of grilled yakitori, spicy ahi tuna rolls and Lucky Foo’s signature Foo Dogs with ginger ketchup.
Lucky Foo’s Restaurant & Bar will introduce a distinctive dining experience to the Green Valley area as an “American Izakaya,” a Japanese term for a highly social setting where family and friends gather for food and cocktails. Located at 8955 S. Eastern Ave. at a high-traffic intersection of the I-215 Beltway, Lucky Foo’s will serve a menu that combines Asian and Mediterranean flavors with American cuisine.
