Just in time for the holidays, Todd English P.U.B. helped spread holiday cheer with Communities In Schools of Nevada (CIS Nevada) students at Cambeiro Elementary School. This week, the team from Todd English P.U.B. donated 25 Thanksgiving baskets to the families of students (Photo credit: Communities In Schools of Nevada).
With excitement in the air for the upcoming holiday, and days off of school that come along with it, students and their families gathered at the school. While children attended class, their parents headed towards the CIS Nevada resource room where they were met with a cornucopia of Thanksgiving fare.

“The holidays are such a happy time, but for some families this is a stressful time trying to put food on the table,” said John Lanata, the general manager of Todd English P.U.B. “Great food is our passion, and we are honored to bring Communities In Schools of Nevada families together around the table and provide a stress-free and happy Thanksgiving.”
Todd English P.U.B. employees and site coordinators handed out the baskets, which were filled to the brim with everything needed to make a feast fit for kings including mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casseroles and more.
“CIS Nevada works to eliminate any and all barriers to student learning, which often includes hunger prevention services” said Diane Fearon, chief executive officer for CIS Nevada. “The donation of Thanksgiving items from Todd English P.U.B. ensures that our students have a meal throughout the holiday and their days out of the classroom. These baskets are truly a blessing for the students and their families, and we are beyond grateful for the partnership with Todd English P.U.B. that has made this possible.”
For some families, the costs of purchasing all the delicious items for the holiday are not an option. With the donation from Todd English P.U.B., families left the CIS Nevada resource room with their arms full and hearts light knowing they would be able to provide a Thanksgiving meal.
