by 11-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani is now open at AAA Four Diamond-rated Green Valley Ranch Resort, serving lunch and dinner daily in the heart of Station Casinos’ popular Henderson resort. 

The restaurant offers classic Italian entrees, pasta and 11 styles of Gemignani’s award-winning gourmet pizzas, coupled with an innovative beverage program.

Spanning over 7,000 square feet, Pizza Rock has a guest capacity of more than 200 people for both indoor and outdoor seating, complete with a large cocktail bar and 20-seat interactive wood-fire bar, all in a rockin’ casual atmosphere. Featuring more than forty 80-inch HD TVs with Xbox gaming systems, the restaurant provides the perfect setting for a family meal, a cozy date destination, or an action-packed spot to watch the big game, paired with award-winning food and beverages.

Most famous for its Napoletana, Pizza Rock offers a variety of Gemignani’s award-winning pizzas, including World Pizza Cup Winner, the Margherita (San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, fior di latte, basil, extra virgin olive oil and sea salt), along with ten other pizza varieties including New York/New Haven, Chicago Cracker Thin, Classic American, Regional Italian, Roman, Sicilian, Californian, Sausage & Stout, Detroit and Gluten Free, all cooked in one of the restaurant’s four different ovens. Other signature pizzas include the classic Italian-style Cal Italia, which won the Gold Medal in Food Network Pizza Champions Challenge (asiago, mozzarella, imported gorgonzola, sweet fig preserve, prosciutto di parma, parmigiano-reggiano and balsamic reduction), the Gold Cup winning Sicilian-style La Regina (soppresatta picante, proscuitto de parma, mozzarella, provola, parmaigiano, piave and arugula), and much more.

Guests can also satisfy their cravings with an assortment of classic Italian favorites such as antipasti, salad and a wide-variety of Italian inspired dinners. Highlights include Sausage and Peppers (house made sweet Sicilian and spicy Calabrese sausage, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, garlic, light tomato cream sauce); Eggplant Parmigiana (breaded eggplant, garlic, mozzarella, provolone, Parmigiano served over buccatini pomodoro); Spaghetti and Meatballs (three house meatballs with house made spaghetti and meat sauce), as well as a few select dishes created for the Green Valley Ranch Resort location, including a Fried Green Tomato Salad made with fresh, hand pulled mozzarella; and a Gemelli Pasta, to name a few.

To complement the dining experience, Pizza Rock will offer a full bar featuring hand-crafted artisan cocktails, an extensive draft and bottled beer list with craft beers including local breweries Banger Brewing Company, Bad Beat Brewing, Crafthaus Brewery and Joseph James Brewing Company, with 40 beers on tap; and a collection of wines with a focus on California and Italy.

Pizza Rock joins Green Valley Ranch Resort’s current culinary offerings including Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis, Tides Seafood & Sushi Bar, Feast Buffet, and Grand Café, as well as the newly opened Slice House by Tony Gemignani in the food court, which opened last month.
