Chef Megan Romano of Chocolate & Spice launches her summer series of hands-on classes for kids, inviting young chefs to participate in a variety of cooking courses.
Each $25 per person class will run one hour with additional time to enjoy creations. Participants have the opportunity to purchase two classes at once for $45.
- On Wednesday, June 10th children will learn how to make fresh pasta and finish with seasonal garden vegetables. The young chefs will then create their own specialized entrée to enjoy.
- Wednesday, June 24th to cool down in the hot desert they will be learning to make ice cream. After, the young chefs will create and enjoy their own sundaes.
- Favorite snacks are on the menu as Chef Romano instructs how to make mini chicken pot pies, mini meatballs and mini mac n cheese on Wednesday, July 8th.
- Finishing the series on Wednesday, July 22nd participants will create seasonal sorbets to end the summer on a cool note.
All classes begin at 3 p.m. Parents must be present for the duration of the session. Walk-ins are welcome but spots fill up quickly so reservations are recommended. To sign up or for more information email [email protected].
