Get ready to raise a stein, stand on the benches and sing hoi, hoi, hoi as Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas kicks off Las Vegas’ only authentic Oktoberfest with the magicians of the century Siegfried & Roy striking the first mallet at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 18.
The Oktoberfest celebration happens every day through October 31 and features celebrity keg tappers every Friday and Saturday night along with live entertainment, traditional Bavarian fare and plenty of Oktoberfestbier imported from Munich, Germany.
Past honorary keg tappers include “Pawn Stars” Corey Harrison, Holly Madison, Carrot Top, Dana White and Pamela Anderson, among others. This year’s lineup, to be released in the coming weeks, is sure to surprise and delight, with some of Las Vegas’ biggest stars.
One of the highlights of the six weeks of festivities is the Oktoberfest Stein-Holding contest, held every Friday and Saturday from September 19 – October 31. With two competitions per night, guests may show their strength for a chance to win a six-pack of Oktoberfestbier and be entered in a drawing to win a grand prize of a dinner for 10.
