Station Casinos is hosting three more monthly televised variety shows in a series of eight dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Children’s Service Guild of Southern Nevada.
Each “Stars Among the Angels” show features a wide array of entertainers which are announced closer to the show dates and have included singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, musicians and other performance artists. The shows are hosted by Jon Fondy, a Hollywood veteran who has produced more than 600 television shows and 400 live events. He is joined by Musical Director Michael Shane, who helped create the concept of the shows. Some of the performers in the first five shows included Earl Turner, Kelly Clinton, Larry G. Jones, Stephen Sorrentino, Michele LaFong, Bruce Mickelson and Lani Misalucha, among others.
The Vegas-style variety shows are broadcast locally on Cox Cable and air nationally on a regional basis. General admission is free, however donations are appreciated. About Children’s Service Guild
For nearly forty years, the members of The Children’s Service Guild, one of Las Vegas’ oldest philanthropic organizations, have been dedicated to helping fill the needs of the children who have been touched by the Clark County Family Court System. Through their work and generous donations, the children have received dental, vision and medical care as well as physical support, clothing, toys, bedding and a kitten to replace a lost one.
