Visitors to Las Vegas Motor Speedway during 2016 NASCAR Weekend can explore a festival-type atmosphere and enjoy a number of fun activities even before they enter the gates of the 1.5-mile speedway.
From buying souvenirs and merchandise at the Fanatics Trackside Superstore, seeing a concert or driver appearance at the Cooper Tires stage and participating in the Toyota Ride and Drive program, to renewing NASCAR Weekend tickets, renting a Fan Vision handheld screen or personal racing scanner and grabbing a bite to eat or a cool drink, fans have plenty to keep them busy before and after racing action each day.
Race attendees can also stop by numerous vendor booths, including LVMS, Kobalt, Red Bull, the United States Air Force and K&N Filters, in the fan-friendly area.
In addition, Lowe’s once again is teaming with Habitat for Humanity on a home build in the Fan Engagement Area, and six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson will make a special media appearance there on Friday morning. Johnson will be on-hand again on Sunday morning to present a ceremonial key to the house for the deserving Habitat for Humanity family.
The LVMS Fan Engagement Area, located outside the main grandstands, opens at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, 8 a.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. on Sunday. Anyone needing assistance during their visit to LVMS should call 702-632-8006.
