Led by the Las Vegas Pipe Band, the procession was joined by an honor guard and New York-New York employees.

Following the parade, Father Kiley gave an Irish blessing and Cynthia Kiser Murphey, president and COO of New York-New York, welcomed the cheery crowd on the Brooklyn Bridge. Murphey recognized stand-out employees, including Cameron Anderson and Krisnel Tongol and New York-New York Employee of the Year; Xuan Alcantara.

Emcee Ken Misch, drum major of the Las Vegas Pipe Band and Murphey concluded the opening ceremony with a Guinness toast.

Throughout the day, guests decked out in green attire gathered on the Brooklyn Bridge to watch live musical performances including U2 cover band, “Midnight,” Phoenix, Patrick Sieban Band and Sin E Ri-Ra. Party-goers also enjoyed delectable Irish cuisine and libations including Bangers & Mash, Shepherd’s Pie, Corned Beef & Cabbage and Guinness at Nine Fine Irishmen.
