Daytime Stars, Lorenzo Lamas and Winsor Harmon, Dine at La Comida in Downtown Las Vegas
Daytime stars were out to play as former stars of “The Bold and The Beautiful,” Lorenzo Lamas and Winsor Harmon dined at Jenna and Michael Morton’s downtown Mexican joint, La Comida, in Las Vegas for lunch on Wednesday afternoon (Pictured: Lorenzo Lamas Poses with Employees of La Comida – Photo courtesy of La Comida)

The duo was spotted with the rest of Lamas’ family including his wife and daughter, along with a few other guests. The group was seen noshing on La Comida’s signature Hamburguesa Mexicana, Enchiladas de Pollo and steak and chicken tacos while sipping on house margaritas. Lamas and his guests had an excellent time, noting that the Hamburguesa Mexicana was one of the best burgers he had ever eaten and promising that he would return again soon.

La Comida is a stylish addition to the burgeoning Downtown Las Vegas dining scene, featuring a menu inspired by the cosmopolitan fare of Mexico City. The latest creation by the Morton Group, led by restaurateurs Jenna and Michael Morton, La Comida blends authenticity and tradition with a delightfully funky vibe.

The facade of the restaurant faces Sixth Street with an old-school overhanging ‘La Comida’ sign stretching across the sidewalk beneath a 7-foot sculptured metal monkey clinging to the rooftop corner, whose bones flash in pink neon. The main room is accented with wood floors, reclaimed tiles from Mexico, authentic church pews and stained glass from old church windows.

La Comida is located at 100 Sixth St. and is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. More information is available at Facebook and Twitter. For reservations please call, 702.463.9900.
