Henderson’s kids better watch out; they’d better not cry; they’d better not pout – Santa’s due to arrive.
Santa Claus is coming to the Galleria at Sunset Saturday, Nov. 7. He will arrive with a show in the Food Court at 1 p.m. followed by a parade.
Based on the infamous poem, “’Twas a Night Before Christmas,” the two shows will feature Millie and Milo, the mice who saw everything the night before Christmas when Santa thought not a creature was stirring in the house. The show will include singing, dancing and tons of cheese. A second show will take place at 3 p.m.
“Since Santa spends most of his time during the year at home getting ready for the next Christmas season, he couldn’t wait to get out to Henderson to begin enjoying the warmer weather and meeting all the kids,” said Mrs. Claus. “The Galleria is the first stop on his agenda, and he’s eager to start making his list and checking it twice.”
Santa will also find out who’s naughty and who’s nice by visiting and taking photos with children in the Galleria’s lower level at Center Court from Nov. 7 until Dec. 24 during mall hours.
“You wouldn’t think so since he is always so careful to avoid being seen on Christmas Eve, but Santa just loves attention and seeing his name in print so he can share his holiday spirit,” Mrs. Claus added. “He wants to meet as many boys and girls, reporters and photographers as possible.”
Santa’s visit to the Galleria at Sunset – located on the corner of Sunset Road and Stephanie Street in Henderson at 1300 W. Sunset Road – is just one of many activities the mall has planned for the holiday season.
