Today, award-winning journalist and former columnist at the Las Vegas Review-Journal John L. Smith joined News 88.9 KNPR today as a regular contributor (Photo credit: Brent Holmes).
Appearing regularly on the station’s flagship program, “KNPR’s State of Nevada,” listeners will hear Smith’s news analysis and slice of life commentary as stand-alone elements within the program.
“We thought it was important that our community continues to hear John’s voice, so we extended the invitation immediately when we learned of his resignation from the Las Vegas Review-Journal,” said Nevada Public Radio President and CEO Flo Rogers.
