“We are happy to announce that for our first show on The Vegas Take we will feature a personal appearance by Robin Leach,” said Mike. “Robin will talk sports, the latest news in entertainment and promises to give dating advice to us guys.”
Leach, who began his journalism career decades ago in his native England, first made a name for himself in print, writing for Britain’s Daily Mail and The Daily News in New York City. He helped in the launch of People magazine, writing the first 11 cover stories, then going on to become show business editor for Rupert Murdoch’s The Star. He transitioned to TV as the first showbiz reporter for CNN, shot the pilot of “Entertainment Tonight” and was its global roving senior correspondent for three years before starting his signature show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.”
Leach recently announced that he will be joining the Las Vegas Review-journal to expand their focus on Celebrity and Entertainment News.
The The Vegas Take will kick off on July 9th and will air 2-4:00pm Saturdays on CBS Sports Radio 1140 and 107.5-3 FM HD3.
