Tickets are now on sale to see Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The O’Jays live in concert on Saturday, Nov. 26 at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm.
The O’Jays have been touching lives with their unique sound for more than 50 years. After recording their first number one and million-selling single “Backstabbers” in 1972, the talented group continued to own R&B music and top the charts with hits including “Love Train,” “Put Your Hands Together,” “For the Love of Money,” “I Love Music” and many more. Collectively, they have 15 gold or platinum certified records and six top 10 pop chart singles.
The O’Jays were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2005, as well as the official Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2013. Today their music is still being featured in many commercials, TV shows and movies. The group continues to perform and gain new fans through several generations with two of the original O’Jays, Eddie Levert Sr. and Walter Williams Sr., along with group member Eric Nolan Grant, who joined in 1995.
“We are excited for The O’Jays to perform their R&B hits at the Star of the Desert Arena,” said Shana Gerety, vice president of marketing at Primm Valley Casino Resorts. “Fans who come out to Primm will enjoy a great show while also experiencing all the other amenities we have to offer.”
