This fine art exhibit showcases scenic art that emphasizes and illustrates the diversity of American Society of Railroad Artists (ASRA) members and portrays the presence and contributions of railroading in various eras throughout our history (Pictured: 1st Place – Ron Hatch, Spoon River Crossing, acrylic on board, 16″ x 20″).
The American Society of Scenic Railway Artists Annual Juried Show presents the best submissions from artists nationwide created using a variety of mediums including watercolor, ink, oil, pastel, acrylic and digital art. The works explore the people, depots and trains themselves that all have a place in the story of how railroads connect us through time and across the country.
Exhibit on display daily in the Big Springs Gallery in the Origen Museum starting Friday, September 30, 2016 – January 8, 2017, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Free for members or included with paid general admission.
