For 25 years, the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village has been Las Vegas’ most cherished, and now the longest running, holiday tradition.
The Magical Forest will kick off its 25th anniversary season and 2016 festivities with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, illuminating the winter wonderland with millions of sparkling lights as the switch is flipped by Mayor Carolyn Goodman.
Special guests will be in attendance, including Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, who will make their grand entrance courtesy of Papillon Helicopters. The Strip’s famed doo-wop group, Human Nature, and Lorena Peril of ‘Fantasy’ at the Luxor will take the stage to regale guests with Christmas carols and other musical merriment.
Fun for all ages, a variety of family-friendly attractions can be found at Magical Forest with the Forest Express passenger train and depot, Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel, Boris the Elf’s 3D Experience, the all-new Avalanche Slide, Rudolph’s Raceway, Rod’s Mini Golf, the Ethel M Candy Cabin and photo opportunities with Santa and his Elves in the Workshop.
