Rodrigo Delpech Wins US Flair Open Finals at Harrah’s Carnival Court

The US Flair Open finals for bartenders were held at Harrah’s Carnival Court on November 12, 2009. The winner, Rodrigo Delpech (pictured above), walked away with $10,000 (Photo: © Scott Harrison/ RETNA/ www.harrisonphotos.com).

Rums of Puerto Rico was the main sponsor for the US Flair Open, the world’s most skilled flair competition for bartenders. During the competition bartenders contestants had to flip, spin, throw, balance and catch bottles, drinks and various bar staples. A panel of five judges scored participants on a variety of elements including difficulty, smoothness, variety, originality, overall entertainment and showmanship.

An additional $20,000 in prizes was awarded in other categories.
