The excitement of March Madness is back with a total wager of $352,000 from Derek Stevens
It was just two years ago that Derek Stevens, owner of the D Casino Hotel, had the sports world buzzing when he came close to winning $1,000,000 after he placed a $20,000 bet at 50-1 odds on Michigan State to go all the way in the NCAA Championship game (Pictured: Derek Stevens Betting Brackets on March Madness – Photo credit: the D Casino Hotel)

Fast forward to this year, Stevens is back in the news as he recently wagered $11,000 on each of the 32 opening round games in this year’s NCAA tournament. Appearing on the Vegas Stats and Information Network show on Sirius XM radio, Stevens made his picks moments after the official bracket was announced and tallied up a total wager of $352,000.

Longtime ESPN sportscaster, Brent Musburger, joined Stevens on-air and witnessed the excitement at the South Point Hotel. It was not just the total amount Stevens bet that has the media talking, but Stevens also selected 20 underdogs to make it past the first round.
