ADL’s Inaugural Walk Against Hate at Springs Preserve April 30
As part of the effort to raise awareness of the injustice of prejudice and bigotry, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of Nevada has organized a signature family-friendly two mile walk to unite the community on April 30 at Springs Preserve. This event is made possible with support from sponsors including Barrick Caesars Entertainment and Bank of Nevada

The event will begin with a drum circle from Community Productions and welcome remarks by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. Trish Kean Channel 13 News anchor will introduce performances from Culture Shock, Social CirKISH and Jassen Allen. 20 valley schools will be awarded their No Place For Hate designation in a ceremony following the walk. No Place For Hate provides schools with framework for combating bias, bullying and hatred.

People of all ages are encouraged to register for the family event. Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for children and both will receive a t-shirt. Walk up registration the day of the event is welcome. Proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit ADL programming, including ADL’s anti-bias programs.
