Introducing a new approach to staying fit and healthy, Studio 222 Personal Training Centers has opened its doors to encouraging people to change their lives, not just their bodies. Certified personal trainer James Wong founded his new personal fitness training facility with the goal of making it the most physically-, mentally- and emotionally-stimulating training environment anyone has ever experienced. Studio 222 is located at 8645 W. Flamingo Rd., Suite 104, at S. Durango in the southwest valley of Las Vegas near Summerlin.
“Every time someone walks through my doors, they will gain training and knowledge that will have a positive impact on everything and everyone they come in contact with,” said Wong. “My goal is that my clients are fulfilling more than just a commitment to exercise and ultimately working toward all-around healthier lives, personally and socially.”
A fully-equipped, by appointment only fitness training facility, Studio 222 provides 3,300 square feet of workout equipment, complete with Western and Thai boxing lessons, sport-specific training in golf, basketball and tennis, private men’s and women’s dressing rooms, lockers and cubbies for storage.
To complement Wong’s commitment to his clients and their goals, he built Studio 222 into a green-friendly space from sustainable and recycled materials including recycled rubber in all matted workout areas, non- toxic and low VOC paint, repurposed wood and earth-friendly cleaning products.
Studio 222 offers a variety of training sessions catered toward an individual’s lifestyle. Wong and his expert staff will design a unique, customized program for all types of clients ranging from elite athletes, first-time exercisers, busy professionals, or stay-at-home parents. Programs are aimed to help clients build the specific functional strength necessary to perform daily tasks and lifestyles with ease and precision. From one-on-one private personal training to nutritional counseling and planning, and small group exercise sessions, Studio 222 is committed to paving the way to a healthier life.
An array of group sessions is offered, including the new ultimate stress reliever: one-hour boxing & yoga, an authentic Thai boxing intense training session lead by Wong to punch and kick a week’s worth of aggravation out of training pads. The next 30 minutes are exuded in a sea of calm and relaxation with smooth and soothing Hatha yoga. Clients can choose from a group class or enroll in private single or duet sessions.
