Grimaldi’s Pizzeria debuts a first-ever, handcrafted cocktail menu to accompany its extensive line of beverage offerings. Known for award-winning, coal-fired, brick oven pizzas and calzones, the nationwide pizzeria puts its own flare on classic cocktails (Pictured: Strawberry Basil Smash).
Highlights from the 10-drink spirited menu include the Strawberry Basil Smash, complete with Jack Daniel’s, Monin Strawberry puree and cane syrup, shaken with lemon juice and fresh basil served in a martini glass, garnished with a basil leaf; the Metropolitan Mule, choice of Bulleit Bourbon or Ketel One Vodka with Gosling’s Ginger Beer and fresh lime juice; the Paloma Italiano, with Maestro Dobel Diamaté Tequila, Aperol, Monin cane syrup, fresh grapefruit and lime juices served over ice with a splash of soda; and the Grimaldi’s Bloody Mary, featuring Grimaldi’s famous pizza sauce as the base, combined with New Amsterdam Vodka, Demtiri’s Bloody Mary mix, served over ice with a medley of pizza toppings. Priced at $10, all cocktails are handcrafted and served at locations nationwide.
Still available throughout July, Grimaldi’s seasonal Summer Selections menu highlights summer classics with a twist. Developed by Executive Chef, Cory Lattuca the tasty menu incorporates fresh berries in its Strawberry Spinach Salad along with tossed spinach, feta cheese, red onions toasted almonds and a Strawberry vinaigrette; and rich, seasonal Strawberry and Blueberry cheesecake offerings, both house-made and served with fresh berries, garnished with whipped cream. The savory Barbeque Chicken Pizza with Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbeque Sauce, tender chicken, smoky bacon, red onion and fresh cilantro is perfect for summer.
