The world’s longest running celebrity tribute show, “Legends in Concert” will bring the spirit of the season to the Strip, with the return of the holiday version of the dazzling production starting Nov. 27 at Harrah’s Las Vegas.
The seasonal version of the 90-minute spectacular will showcase superstar impersonators of past and present, singing the chart-topping hits that launched their celebrity characters into superstardom, as well as a few heart-warming Christmas classics. Dolly Parton will dish out Hard Candy Christmas, Michael Jackson will belt out Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jerry Lee Lewis will rattle off a rendition Run Run Rudolph, Tina Turner will tear it up with a cover of Springsteen’s Merry Christmas Baby, and Elvis will croon a heart-felt Blue Christmas. Bette Midler will drop by on select dates as an addition to the cast and entertain with her wonderful rendition of White Christmas. The show concludes nightly with an upbeat cast finale to The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
The “Legends in Concert” holiday show is a full-scale live production, backed with a live band, ten talented back-up singers and dancers and an extensive multi-media presentation. 2009 marks the third year “Legends in Concert” will present the holiday version of the show.
