The much-anticipated Canter’s Deli is opening in Las Vegas at Tivoli Village. The Canter’s Las Vegas family is eager to unveil the most desired Jewish Deli classics and all-American mouthwatering favorites. Embracing the Jewish Deli traditions, techniques and customs, Canter’s Deli and Bakery of Las Vegas is bringing authentic classic and comfort food to Sin City.
Owner of Las Vegas Canter’s, Kevin Jeffers spared no expense to capture and stay true to the original Fairfax Avenue Deli in Los Angeles. The 6,300 square-foot restaurant showcases a replica of Art Mortimer’s 1985 mural, Canter’s signature Baker Boy neon sign and black and white photographs documenting the 86-year history of the original delicatessen. The restaurant will display sports memorabilia from legendary athletes such as Tommy Lasorda, Magic Johnson, Clayton Kershaw, Derek Jeter, Ernie Banks, Reggie Jackson, Joe DiMaggio and Shawn Green.

“I grew up watching my dad slicing pastrami in one of New York’s original Jewish deli’s,” said Johanny Perdome. “Naturally I followed my father’s passion and started my culinary career mastering the art of carving. It wasn’t easy leaving NYC but I was ready to expand my opportunities and share my craft and passion with the Canter’s family”. My colleagues and I are eager to show Vegas what an authentic deli has to offer.
The bakery will feature homemade bagels, bialy’s, breads and rolls handcrafted by an authentic East Coast baker using only the finest ingredients and a little New York secret. “We can’t tell you his secret” said John Meyers, Director of Operations, but it has to do with the water. New York Style Cheesecakes, Babka Cake, Rugelach, Warm Noodle Kugel and Black and White Cookies are just a few homemade desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Breakfast menu will start at 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m on weekdays and extend another hour till 11:30 a.m. on weekends. offering an array of traditional deli and American favorites such as Corned Beef, Pastrami and Kosher Salami Omelettes, Nova Scotia Lox and Bagels, Pastrami Eggs Benedict, Homemade Potato Pancakes, Homemade Brioche French Toast, White Chocolate Raspberry Swirl French Toast and a Powerhouse Selection for a lighter option. Also featuring an exclusive signature breakfast sandwich from our New York talent, The Franklyn Sandwich prepared with warm steamed brisket, grilled & raw onions topped with melted American cheese and an over easy egg served on an everything homemade grilled bagel.
Lunch and Dinner menu will start at 11 a.m. to close, featuring traditional deli favorites and new Canter’s signature dishes created by Nick Bimonte exclusively for Canter’s of Las Vegas.
Traditional appetizers include Homemade Potato Knish, Homemade Potato Latkes, Nova Scotia Lox and Bagels, Pastrami Knish Sandwich (a New York favorite) and our signature appetizer of Chips and Pastrami, freshly sliced homemade potato chips topped with melted cheese and candied pastrami bits.
American classic appetizers include Homemade Chili, Chicken and Burger Sliders, All-Beef Grilled Hot Dogs (Canter’s of Las Vegas exclusive premium hot dog recipe), Chili Cheese Fries, Pastrami Cheese Fries and Steakhouse Fries drenched in brown homemade gravy.
Traditional items start with our hand-carved Pastrami, Corned Beef, Rueben and Turkey sandwiches that are stacked high with a 1⁄2 lb. of authentic hand-made unsurpassed quality meats from New York. Classic Deli Salads and Platters include Fresh Egg Salad, Fresh Chicken Salad, Fresh White Albacore Tuna and White Fish Salads, House-Made Matzah Ball and of course our Famous Fresh Homemade Dill Pickles.
American favorites include Chop House Burgers, Grilled and Crispy Chicken Sandwiches, Mile – High Meatloaf Sandwich, Crispy Cod Sandwich, Prime Rib Sandwich, a Triple-Dog-Dare-You Platter that will satisfy any hot dog lover and a nice selection of Classic and Kale Fresh Salads.
Classic Dinner items include Half-Roasted Chicken, Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Broiled Salmon and Cod, Hot Roasted Turkey, Mile High Meat Loaf and Fish & Chips, all served with our homemade Mashed Potatoes or Steakhouse Onion Rings and Seasonal Vegetables. Featuring a Canter’s Combo meat platter for two with warm hand-carved pastrami, corned beef and brisket (total of 12 oz.), choice of homemade rye bread or house rolls, served with French Fries and a side of pickles.
Specialty Beverages: Fresh in-house gourmet coffee (we roast our own coffee beans in-house to ensure the quality and consistency of our product). Dr. Brown’s soda, fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade lemonade, Martinelli’s apple juice and Beer and Wine.
