Created by Head Bartender Lillian Hargrove, the NOLA nog features housemade egg nog, Havana Club rum, holiday spiced pastry cream and a smoking cinnamon stick. It’s available hot or frozen ($16).
“The recipe is a proprietary mix made in-house by beating sugar with fresh egg yolks, milk and cream, vanilla beans and hand grated nutmeg,” said Hargrove. “Then, a double dose of Havana Club rum is added and allowed to mellow in the fridge for a few days. We can add espresso if you like the idea of an eggnog latte after dinner.”
