Thursday night gave the downtown visitors a “golden” opportunity! Goaltender Oscar Dansk of our Vegas Golden Knights held a meet and greet at the D Casino Hotel’s world-famous LONGBAR (Photo credit: the D Casino Hotel).

NHL lovers had the chance to talk to the star, while getting their most treasured Vegas Golden Knights merchandise signed. If a signature by the 3-0-0 goalie with a shutout, a 1.78 GAA, AND a .946 save percentage doesn’t give a jersey that little extra shine, what does?

Oscar also met with the D’s casino owner, Derek Stevens, who happens to be an avid Knights fan himself, and owns a “D” luxury suite at the T-Mobile Arena. The Golden Knights have a downtown partnership with the D Las Vegas, so it only makes sense that Derek would watch these intense games VIP style!

After Oscar finished signing autographs for his hyped hockey fanatics, he headed up to the casino’s second floor for some refueling at the award-winning restaurant, Andiamo. There, he indulged in a delicious meal, which included their signature Surf & Turf, that made him realize why Andiamo is the top-rated Italian Steakhouse in Vegas!

Although his meet and greet was over, the fans weren’t done recognizing the dexterous athlete. As Oscar exited the downtown dining hot spot, more casino guests approached him for photos and autographs. As always, he was glad to please his “goal-oriented” admirers!

On top of that, the D casino and Fremont Street Experience will be holding their Vegas Golden Knights Fan Fest this Sunday, from 3-5 PM, where fans will have the opportunity to be up close and personal with the whole team, meet Chance the mascot, and take a “shot” at some hockey shooting cages!

If anybody craves a taste of the Knights on a non-game day, they can clearly swing by the D Casino Hotel – the downtown hockey hangout.
