Internationally renowned hairstylist, Claude Baruk of Claude BARUK Salons at Wynn and Encore, has been nominated for excellence in hairstyling by the Hollywood Beauty Awards. The fourth annual black tie dinner gala to announce the winners for 2018 will be held at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 25.
Baruk, who is the first Las Vegas-based hairstylist to receive a nomination from the Hollywood Beauty Awards, will be recognized for his impeccable work and innovation in styling celebrities. Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers, Tony Robbins, Ciara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Karrueche Tran and Naomi Campbell are among the celebrities Baruk has styled at his stunning Las Vegas salons or in his native France. The Hollywood Beauty Awards recognize the architects of beauty in hair, makeup, photography and styling for film, television, music, the red carpet and editorial.
“I am honored and humbled to receive this nomination from the esteemed panel of the Hollywood Beauty Awards,” said Baruk. “My career in hairstyling has been my passion, my dream, and I have had the tremendous pleasure of styling some of the world’s top trendsetters, both in my native France and in Hollywood’s playground, Las Vegas. It is an honor to be nominated in the same category with other renowned stylists from Los Angeles and New York City. I am thankful to receive this nomination for doing something that brings such great joy.”
Baruk joined the award-winning Salons at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore from St. Tropez in 2013, when he was recruited by Steve Wynn after serving as his personal hair stylist for many years. He brings his luxury hair styling, coloring and rejuvenating treatment services exclusively to Wynn and Encore guests, offering a holistic approach to hair beauty and health. Designated an ID Artist for L’Oreal Professional France, he is distinguished as an international trendsetter and influential member of the styling and fashion industry. Prior to Wynn, he spent several years freelancing in major international destinations such as Courchevel, London, St. Tropez, New York and Paris. Early in his career Baruk established himself as a key member in the French salon industry and earned several national awards for women’s hair styling.
