With sales of more than 60 million albums worldwide, Alanis Morissette’s deeply expressive music and performances have earned vast critical praise, 14 Canadian Juno Awards, seven GRAMMY Awards (with an additional 14 nominations), a Golden Globe nomination, and in 2015, was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Alanis has acted on the big and small screen with roles in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Dogma,” “Sex and the City,” “Weeds,” “Up All Night,” and has appeared as a celebrity guest mentor on “The Voice.”
Alanis became a household name in the early ’90s with the release of her third album Jagged Little Pill in 1995, bringing the world a confessional voice that crossed over with much success fusing the pop and alt rock genres. Several albums followed, including live and studio releases which were well received by fans and critics alike.
