March is upon us which means the big dance and St. Patrick’s Day are right around the corner. Flour & Barley – Brick Oven Pizza and Holsteins Shakes and Buns are celebrating the best way they know how — with mouthwatering specialty dishes themed for the occasions (Pictured: The Bracket Buster).
Kicking off March Madness, Flour & Barley will offer its signature Bracket Buster Pie ($17.50), a spin on the traditional game day nachos, topped with queso sauce, black bean, ground beef, chicken, onion, fresh tomato, avocado creme and crispy tortilla strips.
Chef John Alers will also offer the Luck of the Irish Pie ($17.50) in honor of St. Patrick’s Day — this specialty dish is topped with pesto cream sauce, corned beef, Brussels sprouts, sausage and potato. The Bracket Buster Pie will be available from March 13 – April 2, and the Luck of the Irish Pie will be available from March 15-18.
At Holsteins Shakes and Buns, basketball fans can sink their teeth into the Bracket Burger ($18), made with a beef patty topped with american cheese, fried egg, borracho onion, lettuce, tomato, avocado, ketchup and mustard, accompanied by classic french fries. The Bracket Burger will be available from March 14 – April 2.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Holsteins will also offer the Emerald Isle Bam-Boozled Shake from March 14-17. The sweet treat is made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, vanilla ice cream, apple compote and a drizzled caramel swirl, finished with a frosted rim decorated with green sprinkles, green apple Sugar Babies, green apple Laffy Taffy, chocolate coins and a rainbow sugar cookie ($15).
