Children’s Heart Foundation is partnering with nine local Las Vegas Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants for the 8th Annual “Month of Giving.” Throughout the month of March, customers can make donations to CHF at any Jersey Mike’s restaurant in the Las Vegas area. The campaign will culminate in Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 28 where our nine local Jersey Mike’s restaurants will give 100 percent of the day’s entire sales – not just profit – to Children’s Heart Foundation.
“We’re so happy that Jersey Mike’s Subs chose Children’s Heart Foundation for this great, charitable initiative,” said Kelley McClellan, Executive Director, Children’s Heart Foundation. “Through this campaign we can raise awareness of congenital heart defects and raise necessary funds for our heart heroes and their families locally.”
Throughout the country, on “Day of Giving,” local Jersey Mike’s owners and operators will donate resources and every single dollar that comes in to nearly 150 different charities nationwide including hospitals, youth organizations, food banks, and more.
“I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to visit Jersey Mike’s Subs throughout the month of March, and especially on “Day of Giving” when every penny of sales will go towards supporting neighborhood needs,” said Jersey Mike’s Founder and CEO, Peter Cancro, who started the company when he was only 17 years old.
Last year’s “Month of Giving” campaign raised more than $5.5 million for local charities nationwide. An astounding $4.6 million of that amount was raised on “Day of Giving” alone. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations across the country have raised more than $27 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 1.5 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
