Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas will host a rooftop viewing party for the Kentucky Derby with mint juleps, complimentary champagne courtesy of Veuve Clicquot and a trumpet player starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 5.
The popular restaurant and bar will show the highly-anticipated 144th annual Derby on dozens of high-definition TVs, with viewing available from every seat in the venue. Live betting will be available at the venue’s in-house sportsbook, one of just a few places in Las Vegas outside of casino sports books to offer live betting. Beer Park will spice up the race by giving away free drinks and prizes to the guests who correctly guess the winning horse.
Exclusively for Derby day, Beer Park will offer a mint julep bar, serving the popular cocktail with nut leaves, powdered sugar and Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky, priced at $12. Donning the event’s classic attire, the rooftop restaurant’s staff encourages ladies to dress up in the spirit of the race to receive a complimentary glass of champagne, provided by Veuve Clicquot. For an authentic Derby experience, Beer Park will have its very own bugler perform the iconic ‘Boots and Saddles’ bugle call with a traditional herald trumpet.
Along with incredible views of the Fountains of Bellagio, Beer Park will offer Derby-inspired games, such as croquet and cornhole, as well as oversized yard games, including Jenga and Connect Four. Reservations are available by calling 702.444.4500 or by visiting www.beerpark.com.
