The B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation, which supports abused, abandoned and exploited girls under the age of 25, will host “Cinderella’s Closet Teen Expo” on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tivoli Village.
The expo will feature the semi-annual Cinderella’s Closet pop-up-shop showcasing new and gently used formal gowns, dresses, purses and accessories sold at deeply discounted prices. All proceeds to benefit B.E. A. S.H.E.R.O. Foundation.
This event is free and open to the public to engage in not only prom dress shopping, but also multiple vendor options addressing empowerment, job and life skills, and other key resources. Guests may support Cinderella’s Closet by purchasing dresses for models, fun or prom, for $20.
Special guests to include Miss Nevada Teen USA 2018, Britney Barnhart, and entertainment by Sin City Opera and Clint Holmes’ daughter rising star Asia McCoy and Nieve Malandra’s daughter Gianna Star. B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. will also be presenting donations to the following partners and non-profits: Seeds of HOPE, Living Grace, Girl Scouts Southern Nevada and Refuge for Woman.
“Southern Nevada has countless young girls who need help with basic things like underwear, toiletries and feminine hygiene products, as well as essentials like emotional support and a safe place for refuge,” said Kimberly Miles, founder of B.E. A S.H.E.R.O Foundation. “Cinderella’s Closet is one way to raise funds to be able to provide these basics and essentials while also providing a service to young teens in our community with a one stop shop for affordable prom dress shopping.”
