While die-hard Bomb Tacos fans began lining up for tacos at 10:30 a.m., the official festivities kicked off with an official proclamation at 11 a.m. by Councilman Bob Coffin commemorating the new restaurant.

“Tacos mean something to everybody,” said Coffin. “We’d like to congratulate Robert on the opening of his new restaurant. Judging from what’s going on here, this won’t be your last (restaurant). What you’re doing here is contagious.”

“Thank you all for being here and supporting this second restaurant. I’m actually speechless right now, because I can’t believe this is happening,” said a visibly choked up Solano. “We hope Bomb Tacos will be a great addition to the downtown area. Now let’s enjoy some tacos!”
Solano’s wife Mailin and City of Las Vegas Deputy Planning Director Karen Duddlesten joined Coffin and Solano for a ceremonial ribbon cutting officially opening Bomb Tacos to the public. The Councilman then headed into the kitchen to make a carne asada taco with Solano to serve to the first guest in line.
Guests enjoyed a selection of carne asada, chicken and mushroom tacos while listening to classic Mexican songs including “Sergio el Bailador” by grupo Bronco, “Por Tu Maldito Amor” by Vicente Fernández and Selena’s “Amor Prohibido” and “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” in addition to current Top 40 hits “Mi Gente” by J Balvin, Willy Williams and Beyonce and “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.
Bomb Tacos downtown is located at 616 East Carson Ave. #140 and open Sunday through Saturday from 11 a.m to midnight. For more information on the restaurant and to keep up with the latest happenings, follow Bomb Tacos on Facebook @BombTacosLV and Instagram @BombTacos_LV , and visit bombtacos.com.
