The Composers Showcase of Las Vegas is an entertainment forum that allows local and visiting composers, lyricists and songwriters the opportunity to present original material to a supportive audience in an informal cabaret-style setting. This month’s showcase took place on April 4 at “Cabaret Jazz” at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Each presentation is carefully planned, screening composers and material, in order to provide the best and highest quality entertainment, while being respectful of the artists and their audiences as well as the host venue.
