This Cinco de Mayo, enjoy a free, family friendly celebration at Texas Station. The event will offer great, authentic Mexican food and vendors selling Mexican candies and goodies, ice cream and aguas frescas (Pictured: Los Metichones).
There will also be authentic Mexican artisans on site selling their goods, including pottery, Mexican-style dresses and blouses, custom-made jewelry from Michoacán, crocheted items and hand-painted ceramics.
Traditional music from local bands will be played throughout the event, including music from Los Metichones and Latin Vida Reunion. The Western High School mariachi ensemble and the school’s Vida Latin Pop program also will be performing. Guests can also expect strolling entertainers in traditional costume.
WHEN: The Cinco de Mayo festival at Texas Station begins at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018.
