On Saturday, April 15, prolific jazz guitarist Peter White will transform The Foundry at SLS Las Vegas into an intimate jazz club where he will perform some of his most coveted contemporary jazz covers (Photo credit: Lori Stol).
The world-renowned musician will captivate the crowd as he strums numerous cover songs off his award-winning solo albums including “(Sitting On) The Dock of the Bay,” “I Can See Clearly Now” and “Never Knew Love Like This Before.”
For more than four decades, Peter White has been known as one the most versatile and dynamic acoustic guitarists in the contemporary jazz scene. White has mastered the art of fusing different genres of music together to produce a singular sound that is widely recognized around the world. As an accomplished pianist, guitarist and lyricist, White has recorded dozens of singles and in 2000, he took home three Oasis Contemporary Jazz Awards for “CD of the Year,” “Song of the Year” and “Best Guitarist.”
