The “liberal redneck” group wellRED bring their tour “From Dixie With Love” to the Treasure Island Theatre in Las Vegas on Aug. 10 at 9 p.m.
The three-man comedy group is made up of friends Trae Crowder, Drew Morgan and Corey Ryan Forrester, each bringing their own recipe for Southern-fried comedy to the national stage. The trio tackles outdated traditions and intolerance mixed with hilariously smart political satire. They have toured nationally since the release of their best-selling book, “Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin’ Dixie Outta the Dark” in 2016.
115 million people worldwide have viewed Crowder’s viral series “Liberal Redneck” on Facebook and YouTube. In addition to stand-up comedy, he is a regular video contributor to ATTN: and formerly, The New York Daily News.
The trio have been featured guests on “The View,” “Real Time with Bill Maher,” “Nightline,” and “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.” In addition, they have given commentary on various programs on MSNBC, NPR, MTV, BBC and SiriusXM.
In addition to touring, the three friends co-host a weekly podcast, “wellRED podcast,” while on the road. With more than 1.5 million downloads internationally, the topical podcast celebrates Southern culture while confronting many current political and social issues.
