Aussie Heat to Host Entertainment Industry Showcase Benefitting Opportunity Village on August 29

, Vegas’s most hands-on male revue, will be hosting and producing a genre-spanning, groove-inspired entertainment industry showcase, The Vegas Variety Show, on Wednesday, August 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Opportunity Village Ralph and Betty Engelstad Campus. Open to the public, the event is suited for all ages. 

The inaugural variety show will feature performances by individuals in Opportunity Village’s Performing Arts Program, along with local talent who perform throughout Las Vegas in shows and venues including Aussie HeatSexxyDavid Goldrake – ImaginariumStoney’s Rockin’ Country, and many more. The event’s featured entertainers will perform routines from their headlining shows, spanning across several genres including contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom, Western and more. Attendees will also have the chance to get on their feet and show off their best moves by participating in a line dance lesson.

Since debuting in Las Vegas in 2015, Aussie Heat has supported many Las Vegas not-for-profit organizations including Opportunity Village, where they teach monthly lessons to adults with intellectual disabilities and donate a portion of their nightly merchandise sales.

“We are honored to be producing and hosting Opportunity Village’s first-ever ‘Vegas Variety Show,’ which will showcase a diverse collection of performers from around the world who perform nightly, right here in Las Vegas. We hope everyone comes out to join us for an incredible afternoon of entertainment, while supporting Opportunity Village’s unparalleled Fine & Performing Arts Program,” said Adam Barr of Aussie Heat.

Tickets can be purchased for $15 at this link or at the door, and food and beverages will be available for purchase. All proceeds from the event will benefit Opportunity Village’s Fine & Performing Arts Program. The Fine & Performing Arts Program serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in music, dance, theater and visual art. The program was designed to increase individual’s awareness of the arts, support their creative passions and offer individualized and group training, while promoting self-expression, social interaction and the development of peer relationships.
