The Las Vegas National Horse Show, CSI 4*-W (Nov. 13-18) at the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center returns once again to showcase premier equestrian competition. Now in its 12th year, The Las Vegas National is hosting a new competition in 2018 – the inaugural AON/USHJA National Championships.
Hunter, equitation and jumper competition will run in both the Main Arena and the Priefert Arena starting at 7:30am, Tuesday through Sunday. There are also evening classes Wednesday through Friday and admission is free.
From Olympians and previous Longines FEI Jumping World Cup competitors, some of the top riders in show jumping both nationally and internationally will be competing in the $135,000 Longines FEI Jumping World CupLas Vegas, presented by Walter Oil & Gas, on the evening of Saturday, November 17th. Along with prize money at stake, the event is one of the fourteen legs of the North American League Tour, where riders can earn points toward an invitation to the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Finals in Göteborg, Sweden in April 2019.
Doors open at 5:00pm. Spectators are invited to enjoy horses, family fun, and much more at the South Point Equestrian Arena; including a photo booth, caricature artist, face painting, juggler, magician, shopping, giveaways and arena entertainment. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:30pm, and include a Parade of Nations, a Parade of Champions as well as a performance by Ki-Juan Minors, winner of American Equestrians Got Talent. There will also be an autograph signing event in the foyer after the presentation and victory gallop.
Tickets are $20 per person, children 10 & under are free. A ringside lounge and VIP tables are also available, priced separately.
