As the Nevada SPCA continues to impact and educate the Southern Nevada community, the no-kill animal sanctuary took time to celebrate its animal residents this holiday season.
On Thursday, Nov. 22 the staff, volunteers and board members of the Nevada SPCA gathered in the morning to prepare and serve a special Thanksgiving treat to all canines currently calling the shelter home. Courtesy of Merrick Pet Care a special canned “Thanksgiving Day Dinner” recipe was served alongside unseasoned carrots and topped off with a delicious pumpkin biscuit for dessert.
The Nevada SPCA, a nonprofit organization, works to achieve adoption goals by treating each animal as an individual, with a name instead of a number. The dedicated shelter strives to match each rescued animal with people by personality and lifestyle in order to have the best chance to find a forever home where they will be cherished and appreciated as members of the family every holiday season.
