Glow-in-the-dark entertainment arena, Glowzone Las Vegas, will partner with Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) to host an “Adult Night” fundraiser to benefit the nonprofit on Friday, Feb. 22 from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Tickets are $30 pre-sale online at lv.glowzone.us and $35 at the door. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the nonprofit.
“We are so happy to be partnering with our community to host this fundraiser for a great cause,” said Ron Whited, owner of Glowzone Las Vegas. “We have been fortunate enough to host some of the clubs here in the past and are happy we can give to the nonprofit in a bigger way.”
Professional BMXer Ricardo Laguna will emcee the event while a DJ spins upbeat tracks as event attendees participate in all the attractions that Glowzone has to offer, including a miniature golf course, an arcade, bumper cars and mini bowling lanes. Beyond their signature classics, Glowzone offers truly unique experiences such as bazooka ball, a “Mission Impossible” like laser maze, a ninja course and a 20-foot suspended ropes course. Guests will also enjoy cocktails and drinks from a bar, where their first drink is included in their ticket price, as well as light appetizers.
“We are grateful for the partnership with Glowzone and their commitment to our mission to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens,” said Andy Bischel, president/CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. “The funds raised at this event will support the high-impact programming at our 13 Clubs around the Valley.”
The youth development professionals at Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada deliver high-impact programs focusing on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character and Leadership and Healthy Lifestyles. From the moment, young people enter the clubhouse doors, they encounter the positive impact of the Club experience. Building supportive relationships, participating in fun and engaging activities, learning important skills and developing their inherent talents give the kids a sense of belonging and creates a space of physical and emotional support.
This event is for guests 21 and over and must show valid ID at the time of entrance. This fundraiser is the first of many to be announced as part of Glowzone’s corporate community relations program to partner with nonprofits and organizations in the city and give back to those in need.
