Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas revelers said, “Cheers to 15 years,” on Thursday, Jan. 31, when the authentic Bavarian beer hall hosted a blowout bash celebrating 15 years since opening its doors to Las Vegas residents and visitors. To commemorate the milestone occasion, the iconic beer hall and garden welcomed guests of honor from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation.
In honor of the milestone anniversary, Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas partnered with the Foundation in support of the #GoTrueBlue campaign that recognizes and supports officers who, day-in and day-out, work hard to keep the community safe.
As part of the anniversary festivities, LVMPD Chief Christopher Darcy tapped a celebratory keg of Hofbräu Dunkel Weizen, while guests enjoyed Bavarian fare including schnitzel, sausages, sauerbraten and pretzels, along with steins filled with premium Hofbräu beer imported directly from Munich. Among the revelers in attendance were legendary Las Vegas entertainer Siegfried Fischbacher, magician David Goldrake and the ladies of FANTASY.
The anniversary event featured a 15-percent roundup for charity on all gross proceeds to benefit the LVMPD Foundation. Throughout 2019, Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas will continue to support the LVMPD Foundation with a line of co-branded apparel to be sold in its retail shop with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Foundation. In addition, the restaurant has designated every second Tuesday beginning Tuesday, Feb. 12 as #GoTrueBlue Tuesday, which will also offer a charity roundup, as well as a specialty menu item with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the LVMPD Foundation.
