New Sands Millionaire Progressive Pays Out More Than $1 Million – TWICE in Ten Days!

New Sands Millionaire Progressive Pays Out More Than $1 Million
Late last year, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas launched one of the largest table games progressives in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sands Millionaire Progressive, which starts at $1 million and increases incrementally, is eligible by placing a $5 side bet.

To win, the player must be dealt a natural royal flush, and a millionaire is born! The progressive is available on several table games: Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Three Card Poker, Let it Ride, Caribbean Stud, Crazy 4 Poker, and Mississippi Stud in both The Venetian and The Palazzo casinos.

“With Sands Millionaire Progressive, a simple $5 side bet could change your life,” said Lance Gautreaux, senior vice president and US chief casino officer for Las Vegas Sands Corp. “We pride ourselves in being innovators in our industry and we constantly explore new opportunities to keep our guests engaged and provide life-changing experiences. This progressive is exciting for our guests because each royal flush winner becomes a millionaire.”

On Friday, February 1, 2019, Kevin Ripski from Ontario, Canada, became the first winner of the Sands Millionaire Progressive. Ripski, a guest at The Venetian Resort, was seated in seat seven – his favorite number – at the Caribbean Stud table on The Venetian casino floor. He was playing “blind,” meaning he wasn’t looking at the cards he was dealt. “I play Caribbean Stud blind so I can relax and watch TV,” Ripski said. “I let the dealer flip over my cards so it’s a surprise at the end of the hand.”

And what a surprise it was. The dealer flipped over the hand revealing a royal flush, making Ripski the winner of $1,114,079. “I always play the bonus bet for the very reason if you hit it and are not playing the bonus, you will regret it for the rest of your life.”

When asked how this win will change his life, Ripski said, “It finally sunk in when I came home and told my family. I’m a huge Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles fan, so I will be attending some games in the near future. Also, I might do a little traveling and play a little extra golf.”

“A huge congratulations to Mr. Ripski,” said Gautreaux. “The progressive reset after his win and is already more than $1 million, waiting on the next lucky player.”

UPDATE: Not only did one lucky person become a winner this month, but now a second person has hit the Sands Millionaire Progressive! This means that for the second time in 10 days the Sands Millionaire Progressive as made some one a millionaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

The second lucky player, who wished to remain anonymous, took home $1,018,472 at the Ultimate Texas Hold’em table game. The Sands Millionaire Progressive is available on several table games and can be won by placing a $5 side bet and being dealt a natural royal flush.
