Big Blues Bender
will move to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas for its 6th annual festival, to be held September 5 – 8, 2019. After selling out the past several years, moving to a larger location will allow this annual only-in-Vegas hotel takeover event to accommodate more guests and feature larger acts (Pictured: Robert Cray)

Big Blues Bender gives fans the opportunity to see the biggest names in Blues music in an intimate event over the course of four days in the “Entertainment Capital of the World.”

Additionally, event organizers have announced the initial lineup for this year’s Bender, with more artists to be announced in the coming months. The 2019 Big Blues Bender will feature: Robert Cray, Little Steven And The Disciples of Soul, Tab Benoit, Ruthie Foster, Allman Betts Band, Larkin Poe, One Night on Yasgur’s Farm, Colin James, Jimmy Hall, Southern Hospitality, Victor Wainwright & The Train, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, Doug MacLeod, Damon Fowler, JP Soars and The Red Hots, Popa Chubby, Gary Hoey, Johnny Sansone, Chris Cain, Frank Bang & The Cook County Kings, Kirk Fletcher, Jimmy Carpenter Band, Vanessa Collier, Red Young, Kevin “B.F.” Burt, Jonn Del Toro Richardson, Alexis P Suter, Ghost Town Blues Band, Anne Harris, Jonathon Long, Ally Venable, Ida Mae, Steve Strongman and Bender Brass Band.

Big Blues Bender has become a festival favorite among Blues fans and artists alike, making it a “bucket-list” event for all who attend. Attracting fans from all 50 states and more than a dozen countries, the annual sell out event features the most talented and sought-after Blues artists touring today, performing on multiple stages with everything an elevator ride away!

As the Blues’ most artist-friendly festival, the Bender will once again feature its popular fundraising event “Bender Party with HART!” on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Featuring a star-studded musical review and live auction, the event benefits the H.A.R.T. (Handy Artist Relief Trust) Fund. The Blues Foundation established the H.A.R.T. Fund for Blues musicians and their families in financial need due to a broad range of health concerns impacting artists. The Fund provides for acute, chronic and preventive medical and dental care as well as funeral and burial expenses. Big Blues Bender proudly produces the “Bender Party with HART!” at no expense to the charity. All production costs and artist fees are paid for by Big Blues Bender so that 100% of the proceeds benefit the community of artists in need, totaling over $80,000 raised to date.

Big Blues Bender features four days and nights of music and accommodations, with “Everything, An Elevator Ride Away.” Rooming packages start at $799 per person and are available for purchase today at 11 a.m. PT.
