The Canyon Club Las Vegas Presents the “Country Future Stars” Concert Series
As Las Vegas goes country during rodeo finals, The Canyon Club in the Four Queens Hotel & Casino presents the “Country Future Stars” concert series featuring some of the hottest up and coming country acts. Live concerts take place nightly from December 4 – December 6 and December 11 – December 13 with a Rodeo Wrap Party on December 13.
“Country Future Stars” kicks off on Thursday, December 4 with a performance by Brian McComas and Aaron Benward of Blue County. Blue County’s self-titled debut album contained four hit singles charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts including “Good Little Girls.” Blue County will be joined by Midwestern sibling pop-rock trio, The Abdomen. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
Due West, an energetic vocal trio that thrills the Nashville club scene with their honest country sound, takes the stage on Friday, December 5. Due West is joined by Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real. Lukas Nelson is a singer and songwriter who brings both legacy and talent to his live performances. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
Nashville favorite, Gloriana, will perform on Saturday, December 6. With their soaring harmonies and an electric stage presence, Gloriana is the creation of four uniquely talented musicians joining forces to create a one-of-a-kind sound. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
The second weekend of rodeo finals starts another rocking good time at The Canyon Club Las Vegas when Matt Jenkins performs on Thursday, December 11. Born and raised in Texas, Matt grew up writing and playing country music on the Texas “Opry” circuit. Since his arrival in Music City, his traditional sound and active stage presence have led to supporting performances with such notable musicians as Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Montgomery Gentry and Keith Urban. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
Jeff Allen will perform on Friday, December 12 with his distinctive voice that captures both happiness and heartache in the true spirit of country music. Jeff’s musical roots go back to his upbringing in Texas, and he has played with such legendary greats as Vince Gill and Little Big Town. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
The “Country Future Stars” concert series concludes with the Rodeo Wrap Party featuring Leon Russell and Jeremy McComb on Saturday, December 13. Music legend Leon Russell is one of the most accomplished and versatile musicians in the business and has been writing, producing and performing for decades. His numerous collaborations and contributions to the canon of music history are noted as some of the best records of all time. Jeremy McComb inherited his love of music from his father, a stage entertainer, and was playing for live audiences himself by the age of seventeen. Jeremy’s debut album, “My Side of Town,” is best described as a series of songs that translate into mini-movies, bringing the listener along on a fantastic journey every time. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Tickets for “Country Future Stars” concerts are $10 per show and free for Four Queens and Binion’s players club members. Tickets for the Rodeo Wrap Party featuring Leon Russell and Jeremy McComb are $25 for locals and $35 general admission.
