7th Annual Pirate Fest Takes Over Craig Ranch Regional Park April 27-28
The 7th Annual Pirate Fest, produced by R & J Production the creators of the Halloween event Asylum and Hotel Fear, will take over Craig Ranch Park on April 27 & 28.  Pirate Fest is a fun, family festival including Pirates, Steampunk, Renaissance and Faerie/mermaid characters, and includes live entertainment, food, games, and a beer garden.

Kids will enjoy following a Treasure Map to complete tasks and activities such as, making a rope; walk the plank, swab the deck, hoist the sails, get a pirate name, even make an eye patch or a fairy wand! Complete the map, receive a Letter of Marque, collect pirate booty and become an “Official Pirate”.

For experienced “of age” pirates, a whiskey tasting is available and partial proceeds benefit non-profit, The Paradise Ranch Foundation, who supports supporting autism and mental health conditions through horse assisted therapy. Master mixologist and Guinness World Book of Record Holder, Bobby Gleason of Bean/Suntory shares some of the finest whiskeys, and rum!

The Pirate Puppet Show is also new this year and is presented by Las Vegas Family Puppet Theater Co. Watch the puppets as they present the “Legend of the Pirates” to find out how the Pirates ended up here in the desert!

Additionally, pirates can also chose to renew their vows at pirate fest by visiting weddings@piratefestlv.com.

Two lucky winners will also win a cruise aboard a REAL Tall Ship to sail the Caribbean! Guests may register to win a TRIP for TWO aboard the historic tall ship S/V Mandalay from the Sail Windjammer Cruises, where they can hoist a sail, steer the ship, or just sit back and sip on some rum! For cruise info on the Tall Ship Mandalay go to: www.SailWindjammer.com.
