Downtown Las Vegas Events Center Welcomes 1,400 Hockey Fans at Official Vegas Golden Knights Playoff Watch Party
On Wednesday, April 10, fans gathered at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center to cheer on the Vegas Golden Knights as they kicked off their playoff run against the San Jose Sharks. Hosted by the team’s official Downtown casino partner, the D Las Vegas, the event space will continue to offer watch parties for every game during the Western Conference semifinals.

To add to the excitement, fans were greeted with appearances from Vegas Golden Knights’ mascot, Chance, the Knightline drummers and the Golden Aces. Guests were able to watch the lively game on 72 feet of HD LED screen, all while enjoying activities like corn hole, beer pong and more. A variety of food options from Project BBQ and American Coney Island also were available for guests to munch on.

In this game the San Jose Sharks defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2.

Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will continue to support the Vegas Golden Knights with a viewing party on Friday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. Additional watch events will be held at the venue for the rest of the team’s playoff run.

The watch parties are free and open to all ages. To elevate the viewing experience, tables for 4-20 people are available for rent at dlvec.uvtix.com.
